Terms: 3 years, Full Time

Main responsibilities will include:

• Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget
• Involved through the complete life cycle, from concept to commissioning and customer sign off
• Planning and preparing schedules and milestones and monitoring progress against established schedules
• Coordinating interface between various internal, external, and client groups
• Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to clients
• Providing clarity of customer specifications, develops budgets, coordinates mechanical, electrical, and controls design, fabrication, quality control, delivery planning, installation, coordination and commissioning scheduling plus resources planning
• Managing external fabrication shops and quotation process
• Assisting in coordination of equipment shipping

Skills and Experience:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 8 – 12 years' experience in gypsum manufacturing or operations
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project

Desired:

• Project Management Professional designation is an asset
• Experience with fast paced, project-based environment working with budgets and timelines and proven organizational skills
• A leader who develops strong client relationships
• You are committed to excellence and continuous improvement
• You have strong communication skills with an unwavering desire to tackle new challenges and uncover practical solutions to problems

Working Conditions:

• Most work is performed indoors in an office environment
• When travelling, work is on site in a construction environment – exposure to element, dust, noise, and constructions hazards
• No lifting or physically strenuous work is required
